It’s New Years eve! Time to express gratitude for the past year and time to celebrate a new year of possibilities.
Plans have been made, champagne ( or sparkling cider) is chilling and a lot of you will be hosting parties, or attending get together’s to ring in the new year.
Sparky ( my husband Bob) and I will be snuggled up on our couch under a warm blanket. I’ll be clutching my box of tissues (I’m ringing in the new year with a bad head cold) and he’ll be trying to snuggle without getting cooties, giggle. We’ll watch Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve and try and keep our eyes open long enough to see the ball drop.
We’ll raise our glass to each of you and send Happy New Years wishes your way. May it be filled with abundant love, happiness and good health.

We smuggle in early too after a quiet dinner out. We're babysitting tonight with a 12 month old…woop, woop! (Hope we get some sleep!!)

It was only 6 months fo me as I only started blogging in June but it was a good 6 months and I have made a lot of new friends. Being able to express myself and try to help others with difficulties has helped me through times that would have been worse without other bloggers. Happy New Year

No drinking and driving rule stuck hard in our family. My parents wanted me to refrain from drinking and driving so much that they let me rent a hotel for parties or stay out all night long as long as I had somewhere to sleep. They were the best parents ever. I didn't drink and drive because I knew it was okay to drink and sleep.
