Dreams of Cottage Living
On my vision board I have always had images of a cottage by the water.
For those of you who read my blog regularly you know that I do live in a lovely home in an area where I have a mountain view out of the kitchen window and a lake view out of the bedroom window.
But, one day I want to live in a cottage by the water. Just a stones throw away from a lake or a really big pond, giggle. Somewhere I can sit on the porch and have tea while I watch my wonderful husband fish. I dream of this day, I believe it is meant to be.
It is with my cottage by the water vision in mind that I created the Cottages page (one of the tabs at the top of the blog). When I’m hopping around reading all of your wonderful blogs I often come across blogs with beautiful cottage style themes or blogs where people are living my dream in a cottage by the water. Now I have gathered them all together in one place and I hope you enjoy this collection of lovely cottage blogs as much as I do. Each of them has the ability to take you to the water’s edge, or to place you comfortably in a chair in a cottage style home. Share my dream/vision with me and discover a new blog that will soon surely become a favorite.

I love your vision board! have been wanting to make one myself for some time. Ah, another item I must stop and complete. I have heard they are wonderful for focus toward dreams and goals. A cottage at the lake would be a fairytale, would it not?

What a nice dream. If I could retire anywhere, it would be Italy. But I know that dream cannot come true because I could never leave my family behind. If I had no children that is where hubby and I would be. He shares the same dream. Have a wonderful day.
I do have a vision board! I think I posted a picture of it a while back, but knowing me, I think I called it an inspiration board, and it has mostly photos of things I want to paint. Thanks for sharing yours with us!
