Christmas Delight
Every year I happily share some of my holiday decorations with you. It actually helps me to get into the spirit of Christmas when I decorate the house. Does it help you? I kept the decorating to a minimum this year though, as my long days have wiped me out and my energy is lowww. No fancy staging for these photos either my sweet bloggy friend just some simple snaps to share.
Our Christmas tree has the same theme every year. Yes predictable, but I love it! It is our angel tree. Covered with mostly winged things, angels, birds and butterflies. With a few flowers and pearls thrown in to. Do you have a theme tree?

Welcome to our home, this is the living room as you walk in.

In the kitchen you’ll find Santa and a ginger bread house
a bit of Christmas on the kitchen window sill too
The dining table is a mixture of silver and gold
The Santas stand at attention in the dining room
In the television room there are only a few simple holiday touches ( sorry about the reflection from the sun)
A fun Santa pillow rests on the chair
Carolers sing on the table ( it is a music box and plays a charming Christmas melody)
and poinsettias line the photo shelf above the television.

Wow Katie! Your decorations are absolutely beautiful. This year I will decorate but not on a large scale. I have a little ornamental tree that I got as a gift from Australia. My Santas and some other decorations will also be used. Take care and have a wonderful holiday season.

Oh, I don’t post photos of it all–there is holiday stuff everywhere in this house! It’s crazy. And it makes me crabby to put it all up and take it all down. Your house looks great though. The tree is really pretty!

Christmas is the main time that I make an effort with decorating, I don’t have a themed tree as such, but rather a lot of disparate and treasured ornaments collected over several years. I have quite a few vintage baubles too, which I love.
