Put A Ribbon On It

I love adding a bit of romance and femininity to things. I often add ribbon to make something simple seem a bit more special. Adding pretty ribbons to packages is common I know. But, what about adding ribbon to a plain jar, or can, or a candle, etc. I gathered a few things from around the house and “put a ribbon on it”.

What do you put a ribbon on?

  1. Katherine, I couldn’t agree more. I think the sheer organza ones you’ve used here are so lovely.
Thank you so much for linking up to our 2 FOR 1 Blog Party and for letting me know about the sweetheart giveaway. I’m off to find it on your page now.
    Much love to you!!

  2. Ribbons do add a touch of whimsy to everything. I sometimes tie a piece around a bunch of flowers to stop them flopping all over the vase, keeps them standing up straighter.

  3. These are really pretty! I love the pretty lace napkins! :)

  4. Very pretty pictures! You are right, ribbons are one of those things that easily dresses anything up! Even curly que wrapping ribbon around a setting of plastic serving utensils and filling a basket for a summer outdoor gathering!

  5. I love to add sheer ribbon to many things…such an elegant touch. At Christmas I added green ribbon around kitchen jars marked ‘tea’. Thanks for visiting my blog~

  6. Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie…
A gorgeous share. I too love a little ribbon here and there. It just gives it that feminine and romantic touch I think. I tie onto baskets and spoons and even the backs of my chairs. So much fun, I buy ribbons when they are on sale, because I know when the next project pops into mind, I will need a little something special.

Thank you so much for letting me dream a little with you. Have a glorious weekend. Country hugs, Sherry
