  1. I’ve been looking for a good rice pudding recipe – it reminds me of my mother-in-law! Every holiday came this wonderful pudding with a side of raspberry glace. Except that someone had handwritten the recipe and it looked like “RUE pudding”, so they called it that everafter! 🙂

  2. It sounds delicious. I haven’t had any in a long time. It’s one of my son-in-laws favorites. I may just have to whip some up for him!

  3. This brings back good memories. My Mom’s rice pudding was made in the oven, and I used to pick the raisins out (still don’t like raisins.) TFS!

  5. Oh Katherine, that brings back memories from childhood. My mum always used to make rice pudding too, and I loved it, especially the skin on the top , which came from the nutmeg that she used. Thanks for the memories!

  6. Oh that sounds so delicious. It is very similar to my moms recipe but she used coconut milk. Loved her rice pudding! Think I might make some.

  7. Thanks for adding this recipe to Creative Monday Katherine. I have never had rice pudding. I need to give it a try. I like rice and it sounds delicious. My mother is alive but she just loves ripe plantains fried or baked!:) Take care and have a good week!

  8. I don’t believe I have ever had rice pudding. This sounds so good, I might have to give it a try sometime. Thank you for sharing! Happy Monday sweetie.

  9. Hi, Katie! Cherry pudding makes me think of my mother. She made it from scratch all summer long. Hers were the only cherry puddings that I ever ate. Another food that reminds me of mom would be potato salad because she made the best. Have an excellent week, Katie!
