Blooming Marvelous
Mothers day at our house is always extra special. My sweetheart of a husband established a wonderful tradition for Mothers day about 10 years ago. Instead of roses, or a vase filled with cut flowers. He buys me a beautiful hanging planter and plenty of gorgeous blooms to fill the containers on the back porch. By mid summer these containers will be overflowing! The fragrance is already better than any perfume you can by at your local department store.
Sitting outside in the morning with a cup of tea watching while Izzy ( our new puppy) play in the morning sun, is blissful.
Just in case my daughter reads this today, Happy Birthday sweetie, how can it be 32 years since you were born?

It’s a lovely tradition! We don’t have any traditions for Mothers Day yet, but it might come as the kids grow older 🙂 It’s not really a big day here in Scandinavia though and that’s a pity.
