Chrysanthemum Autumns Flower
Hello friends, I know Autumn is on the way when my chrysanthemums begin to bloom. Autumn’s Flowers arrive and help us welcome the change of seasons with beautiful colors of amber, yellow purple and reds. I hope you will enjoy my little poem about Chrysanthemums.
I potted and wrapped some mums ( chrysanthemums) for our lovely neighbor across the street. She always shares her baked goodies with my hubby. He is always thankful for her generosity and so is his belly. A just stripped a piece of burlap and frayed it at the edges, and then added a touch of organza ribbon glued on with a dot of hot glue. It made a lovely presentation.
A quick walk around our yard and you can see our mums are showing plenty of color in the garden. It was an overcast day yesterday. But I managed to get a few quick snaps put into this autumnal collage. 🙂
A while back I shared a fun way to decorate the front porch by putting mums in a pair of old boots.

These do all make me think happily of Fall. My in-laws come with us to the pumpkin patch each year and my MIL always gets her flowers. 🙂
We used to take our grandchildren to the pumpkin patch every year but as they got older our daughter and son inlaw take them now. I miss it. I used to buy them pumpkins and pick up mums for our porch xo
Love the burlap around the pot of mums! In my home and my staging for events, I wrap a lot with burlap in fall and early spring as well! It’s earthiness is lovely 🙂
Your pictures were delightful to enjoy this morning with my cup of Chai tea! I found Cinderella pumkins used as planters in Country Garden magazine, wrapped with grapevine and stuffed with mums, vines and such.. My weekend project!

Yes.. the mums are blooming! Love the idea of putting the burlap around the pot. This will be wonderful to use as centerpieces and then I can give them as gifts!
