Awakening to Unconditional Self-Love in Motherhood

Everything I Needed to Know I Learned from My Six-Month-Old-Awakening to Unconditional Self-Love in Motherhood

everything I need to know Award-Winning Novelist’s Kuwana Haulsey’s story of awakening through Motherhood was inspired after she heard the story of an African tribe that celebrates mothers with the songs of warriors. When a new mother leaves home for the first time after giving birth, everyone she meets along the road celebrates her with a greeting of a sacred song. Sacred songs otherwise reserved for warriors returning from battle. The new Mothers are honored for living through the rite of passage that forever marks them as abundant, powerful and blessed.

The book, Everything I Needed to Know I Learned from My Six-Month-Old gracefully blends Kuwana’s beautiful story telling abilities with her personal transformation. It is a lovely blend of her memoir, spirituality and her own self-development all rolled into a novel of moving exploration and discovery. Filled with the lessons and blessings of parenting, this beautifully written book brings you to your knees in prayer thankful for the blessings of parenthood.
