As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior we rejoice in all that is good, kind and loving. I am blessed to have a life rich in all of these things. Thank you for being part of it.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. ~ Isaiah 7:14

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”  Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,  “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” ~ Luke 2:9-14

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. ~ Isaiah 9:6

I know that the holidays can often be less than jolly for some. If your year has been a difficult one, if you have suffered a loss, felt your happy fall away or suffered in health, heartache or life’s twists and turns. I hope you know that you are never alone. Look to the heavens HE hears you. I also hope that your visits to Katherines corner have in some small way lifted your spirits.
