I Am Not a Fashion Blogger-

I am not a fashion blogger, sigh, truer words have never been spoken. Well that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but hey, I own it. When I worked away from home I always wore lovely outfits, suits, slacks, skirts and oh my goodness I had soooo many pairs of shoes Imelda Marcos would have been shocked! Now, as I take my long walk down the hallway to my art room or den, my work outfit is basically jeans and a tee shirt. Or on a great day, my pajamas! One thing that I did then and I still do now, I wear jewelry. I have my favorite pieces and I like to wear pearls with tee shirts and stacked gold and silver bracelets together. I like to accessorize my way. I am not wearing trends I am hopefully a trend setter.

For those of you wondering what the heck I am rambling on about today. The 2015-2016 winter runways were filled with dramatic, statement making accessories. The brooch is back too! I used to wear a  brooch as a tie tack (yes I did occasionally wear ties) or I would use a brooch on the knot of my scarf. The runway collections embraced long pearl necklaces wrapped and knotted or hanging loose. A lot of stacked  bracelets and fringe too.

I will always embrace being a trend setter rather than following a trend.

But, that doesn’t mean that I won’t wear the trending jewelry. It just means I will wear it my way.
