Just click the image to find the recipe. Many of my recipes can be adapted to be migraine safe, dairy free, gluten free,lactose free and sugar free. Often by exchanging to ingredients your diet will allow. Migraine safe recipes require you to leave out the lemon zest, nuts and other trigger foods.( know your allergies and migraine triggers before making my recipes please)
Some Simple Substitutions for migraine sufferers are instead of lemon/lime zest /juice use half measurement of distilled white vinegar ( example 1 tsp. lemon juice = 1/2 tsp. distilled white vinegar)
for onion- use leeks,spring onion or green onion ( equal measurements)
omit dried fruits
For dairy free and sugar free recipe alterations use equal measurements of your dairy substitute or sugar substitute.
I have been influenced by so many talented chefs. But, I often feel like a “mad scientist” when I am creating new recipes. Thank goodness my hubby is a willing taste tester and always gives his honest opinion. I hope you enjoy what I share at Katherines Corner.
