I See Little Sprouts

I see little sprouts! Our garden is sprouting. Little bits of green stretching towards the sun as they break through the earth. Joy!!( please ignore our neighbors fence , we plan to take it down and replace it this summer)

Peas

Lettuce

Onions

Strawberries are doing well too.

We will be planting more veggies as the weather stabilizes. For now we are  just thrilled to see them growing.

New Book Club Selection For April, Bloom By Kelle Hampton

Oh my goodness we only had two “offical” votes for the April book and we have 42 book club members……sigh, do you think the shine may be wearing off on our wonderful book club? I sure hope not. I did hear from a few off you and there was very little interest in the book selection this month ( thank you to those that did vote however) . So, I’ve done something wild, something crazy, something out of the ordinary!!!

I selected the book. That’s right, I did it!  I cant wait to read it! The book for this month is not even one that was listed ( see above sentence about lack of interest) .Instead I have chosen Bloom by Kelli Hampton as our book club book for April. I hope you will join me in reading it. I look forward to your comments and I will be sending emails to all of the book club members announcing the selection. If you are not a member of our book club you are always welcome to join. Lets see if we can get it shining bright again.

Hello sweet bloggy friends. I have been having a lot of trouble with my email lately. Imagine my surprise when I opened my email and found 295 failure notices! I sent well over 300 emails to  many of you this weekend. Responding to your kind comments and treasured emails. Nearly all of them were returned. I was crushed……

Please accept my apologizes if you think I have neglected to respond to your emails or kind comments. That is not the case. I am so sorry you didn’t receive them. Please know that I was thinking of you and sending hugs and happy thoughts your way along with my forever gratitude for your bloggy friendship. I have reported the problem to my email host and hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.

Meanwhile. Please know how much I appreciate you and your wonderful comments.

Okay how many of you heard Charlie Sheen’s voice in your head when you read this post title?  I sure heard it when I wrote it. I think he’s back on track again now. But, this word and the way he said it, will forever be associated with him. It actually makes me smile when I say it. Don’t mind me though……

Why the tile you may ask? You did ask, right? Well… it’s for two reasons. One is to celebrate the new winner of the sweetheart giveaway. Yes you read that right, the new winner, and the winner is Sarah of Creating Amazing . ( the original winner never claimed the prize!)

Using the same random drawing as before. I put all of the names ( assigned numbers) back into the random number generator and  taa daa !  Now I ask you to please join me in congratulating Sarah ( you package was mailed yesterday) .

The second reason for the title is to say thank you to  Melanie of French Blue and Peachy Pink . I won her vintage giveaway! I a very happy to be receiving my prize from down under ( Australia) and to Jeanette of Sweet Jeanette, I won her birthday giveaway! I’m thrilled. I haven’t won anything in such a long time!!Can you even recall the last time I wrote about my winnings?
