Poor Mans Rose
Someone told me years ago that the carnation is “the poor mans rose”. Truth be told I prefer a carnation over a rose. The fragrance is wonderful and they last for two weeks after cutting.

Is this poor mans rose called ( Lisianthus ) ? and where can you order the seeds ?
Hello Rose, it is a dianthus. I imagine seeds are available at most garden shops. 🙂
And, they have such a fresh fragrance.♥

I love carnations! They are beautiful, come in so many wonderful colors, and they last quite a long time.
