The symbol for infinity has become relevant in our everyday culture, used as a reminder of the limitless possibilities life has to offer us. What do you think of when you hear the word infinity? Do you think of time, space, forever, always, without end, no limits? Do you hear the voice of Buzz Light-Year from A Toy Story shouting to “infinity and beyond”?
The infinity symbol originated as mathematical symbol (also known as lemniscate) used to represent an uncountable measure. The infinity symbol represents more than math, time and space to me. I know that my love for my husband has no limits, therefor it is infinite. I know that my love for my family friends and my Lord all are infinite.
I often use it in reference to endless possibilities. Those of you who join me on facebook know I mention it often, a gentle reminder from me to you that possibilities are endless, infinite. The stars in the sky, the grains of sand on the beach and the immeasurable love I have for the people that call my heart their home. All of these represent infinity to me.

I think of the infinity symbol as saving yourself for marriage and a commitment to your boyfriend/husband/wife/girlfriend etc
When I think of infinity, I think of the infinite goodness of God and His master plan for us, His children! patsy
I work in a school where the metis flag is an infinity symbol on either a red or blue background. To me that we are interwoven and that the line is continues without a beginning or an end. Your bracelet is indeed lovely-

The word “infinity” like Janine said takes me back to maths and school.
The concept of “infinity” has me lying on my back in a prairie camp site looking up at the stars and wondering just how many there are and where the edge of the cosmos is, but infinity would suggest that it has no edge because but just goes on and on.

I know you are being all sweet and loving with your thoughts on infinity…..but all I can think of is Buzz Lightyear saying “to infinity and beyond” when I hear the word. So, inifinity means endless outer limits to me. 🙁
