Standing Strong-
Inspiration can be found in every day things and although most would walk past a garden spot filled with toppled flowers. I am inspired by the strength of my bright yellow daffodils. Standing strong against the odds. They have been blown by the wind, covered in snow and beaten by heavy rain storms .
Like so many of us they bend, when they could have broken.
Others have succumbed and now brighten our patio with their sweet sacrifice.
Some still continue to reach for the sun standing strong and reaching upward.
These beautiful flowers in their bright yellow bonnets are a wonderful reminder that life gives us storms
and we must stand strong and look up.
If you, or someone you know is weathering a storm, think of the daffodils and look up….
He is the sun ♥
Acts 7:55-
But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God,
and Jesus standing at the right hand of God
Sending wishes for a beautiful Good Friday and a Happy Easter weekend ♥

I adore daffodills and this is a beautiful analogy since they are often the herald of the spring flowers. They do take a beating every year. Happy Easter Weekend, Katie!

So true and they are so much tougher than they look. Just like we often are. Biggest hugs my friend!

Lovely analogy, Katherine. Nature does give us wonderful examples to follow. It reminds me of all the storms my baba (grandmother) weathered. I just finished writing the first draft of her story, and it amazed me to get in touch with all she had to overcome in order to survive. Your post on daffodils, that lovely majestic flower, is a good one for today. Best wishes to you and yours for a Happy Easter.
