  18. i wanted to thank you for commenting that you were thinking of me. I got a new iphone and have been playing with the camera and apps, I got new progressive glasses and had to get used to being on the computer with them (still not quite there yet) and I’ve been very busy with summer stuff, so I haven’t blogged in a while. But you sweet comment was just the inspiration I needed.

  19. Katherine, you have one of the best blogs around. Homey, warm, accepting, generous, like you! Reminds me of my home ec. days. Once upon a time, there was a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics, which I got from the University of Manitoba. Now, it’s called Human Ecology. What with all the additives and crap entering our diets and the busy schedule of our lives, what’s more nourishing than a good home-cooked meal, crafts, and a nicely decorated home. Kudos to you, Katherine. So lovely to pop in on your blog. If I had the time, I might just stay here for days. 🙂
