Time for another new giveaway! This is a great giveaway for your beloved pets and of course there is some cash for you too! Thanks to my giveaway sponsor Petco via Simple Nature Decor and a few of my sweet bloggy friends I am happy To bring you the Pampered Pets Giveaway. During the holidays you will most likely have guests over for parties and get together’s, here are a couple of tips that I find useful for keeping your pet and guests happy.
If your fur baby gets excited and has a tendency to jump up on guests when they enter the door you may want to consider-
- Put your pet in a comfortable and familiar room. Provide pet toys, comfortable sleeping area and familiar sounds ( television or radio if that is what he/she is used to) make it all very cozy.
- If you have a lot of guests at your home that your pet hasn’t met, it may be best to keep your pet in the room while your guests are enjoying the party.
- Remember not everyone loves your pet like you do. Some of your guests may be uncomfortable around animals.
- Pop in and spend time with your pet during your party. Give positive reassurance.
- If he/she is in the room for more than two hours. Bring your pet out on a lead and let him/her get a drink, walk him/her or take him/her for a potty break.
- If your pet is comfortable around guests and causes no disturbance, let your pet meet your guests on your terms, do not let your pet wander around your party unsupervised.
- Remember to provide positive rewards.
- If you have a very well behaved pet, but you are keeping your guests comfort in mind, try a 30 minute play time before your guests arrive. If your pet is all played out, he/she may just want to find a comfortable spot to nap.
- Or give your pet a favorite toy/rawhide etc. that will keep your well behaved pet busy for a couple of hours.

Awesome contest. My little old toy poodle Monty really needs a hair cut to maintain him after 3 hernia surgeries and an infected cut under his eye. I am trying to find a new job for months now and can not afford it… tough enough to keep us in food… please let us win!

Well I have four beautiful spoiled pitt bulls that only get the best nutrition. I mostly feed them Nutro Natural Choice Chicken Whole Brown Rice and Oatmeal Large Breed Adult Dog Food. I also feed them Organic homemade dog food that I mix in with the store bought dog food. It can ger pretty pricey. So I would buy 2 packs & probably another dog kennel & dog bed for my daughter’s bedroom. Our dogs are indoor dogs and each family member has a dog in their room.

Since the giveaway doesn’t end in time for Christmas (the Paypal cash would have been great towards gifts), I would use it to stock up on some things with year-end sales. I have ive Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues) so we go through a LOT of food, cat litter, treats, etc. I would use half of the money towards things for my furbabies and the other half to stock up on things for the household (i.e., staples for the pantry, cleaning supplies, new washcloths since we are really short of them right now).
