Hello friends, deja vu everyone- so sorry I had a hiccup at Katherines Corner today and had to restart, so yea, that happened! Thank you for being such amazing bloggy friends. I know you won’t mind seeing this twice. Sadly your lovely comments are gone too. So here we go, take 2- Hello friends, Happy Weekend Wishes! Today I want to share a fun diy for your budding artists, How to draw a seal in 10 minutes or less . With school starting soon for many of your little ones.I thought it would be a fun project to share with them or to use in a lunch box notes. If you missed any of my lunch box love notes printables ( you can find them here). When my daughter ( who is 37) was in elementary school I taught her class some fun ways to make animals out of shapes. Today I’m sharing one of them with you. If you like it let me know in the comments and I’ll share some others next week.

how to draw a seal in 10 minutes or less

Start by drawing your head and front body oval

Then draw a horizontal oval for the body and put them together

Draw an oval for the tail and remove the purple area to make the tail

Draw two more ovals for the flippers and add them to the front body

Draw circles for the eyes and small lighter colored circles inside and towards the top of the eyes

Draw two ovals for the face and move them together

Add a circle at the center bottom of the ovals so only a bit of it shows

Add an oval for the nose

Add some whiskers and some spots

Say Taa Daa, you just learned how to draw a seal in 10 minutes or less!

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you all back here on Monday.

Aw, this is adorable! I am not the artist here technically as that is my husband, but still going to give this a try as it looks easy and so much, too. Happy Weekend to you, too Katie xoxo 🙂

I think I would have to go for the Amazon gift card. The Apron and Table runner are lovely but the possibilities are endless on Amazon. Thank you for the opportunity to win something.

This is adorable. When I was a child, I learned how to draw a rooster and an elephant. It is handy to have a few little drawings you can whip out, even as an adult. This little guy is very cute!!
