Just Noodling Around
Okay let me just say right from the start, I have had this topic in my blogger (noodle) brain for a while now. I finally took it out, dusted it off and I’m sharing with you today. Like the title, “Just Noodling Around” I’m sharing all things noodle!
I think everyone’s favorite noodle is surely the noodle recipe that feeds a cold (starve a fever?), chicken noodle soup! We all have a favorite, straight out of the can, box or best of all, homemade in a pot. We all know the comforting sound of the slurp of a noodle. You can find my chicken noodle soup HERE. Noodle art? How many of you made macaroni art in school? Our daughter made some cute macaroni noodle art in first grade. A piece of colored paper, a lot of Elmer’s glue and the finishing touch, glitter which was followed closely by the big big taa daa! This glorious noodle artistry was displayed in its true place of honor. The place all schoolwork longs to be… the front of the refrigerator! Right there where all who crave beverages and nourishment will see it, held in place by a couple of California raisin (do you remember them?) magnets.
Raise your hand if you have ever worn a colorful noodle necklace to work? Me too!
Have you ever wondered what different noodles are called? Our youngest grandson will only eat macaroni and cheese made with little seashells.
You don’t need a pool to create some fun bits of craftiness using pool noodles. I found a really cute diy for witch legs in the October issue of Woman’s Day magazine. I couldn’t find it on line so I just copied the page for you. This image and the contents within belong to Woman’s Day.
In conclusion my sweet friends, whether you are floating on or nibbling on a noodle, there is always a reason to be just noodling around.

Fun post! That Garlic Chicken Mushroom Soup sounds out of this world for the winter!
Now I’m craving noodles! I’m headed to the garlic ginger recipe next, I love ginger. The Halloween display is so fun, definitely going to try it next year.

Fall showed up and all I wanted to do was eat soup! And noodles! I could devour a bowl of buttered noodles and I’d be quite content. And I love chicken noodle soup but haven’t done well at making it myself. But I’m taking a look at your recipe and perhaps I’ll wing it 😉 Bad pun, I know. Thank you for reminding me why I love colder weather.

I like noodles.
Noodling is also what simple filler guitar chords are called, such as someone playing a rhythm guitar. It’s what I do in our band and I’ve been told I’m a good noodler.
