I Love-Hate the Airport
I love-hate the airport. Yes I know… not proper grammar but what can I say, I love-hate the airport. I Love it when we’re picking someone up and oh how I hate it when we are dropping someone off. I’m already filled with emotions, add in crazy drivers, people who insist on honking even though there is no place to go, and crazy parking circles that take you nowhere. Today, today, I hate the airport. Mums on her way home and I am sad…It was so amazing having her with us for a month. But the time..the time… it came and went.
We enjoyed so many things together and talked until our throats were dry. We kept odd hours and ate at ridiculous times and ate even more ridiculous amounts of food. Have you noticed how easy it is to just keep munching while your sharing stories old and new…you know where I’m going with this right? Yes, mindless snacking, laughing and snacking again? Oh did I forget to mention that I gained 5 pounds in one month? Just in case you were wondering if it is possible, yes, you can do it. But, now you don’t have to try it for yourself because I did it for you, you’re welcome, giggle.

Totally get this. I am so very excited as we will be heading out on Friday morning from our lcoal airport to Disney for a few days. So excited and loving the anticipation of this trip right now. But also know when we are returning, I am going to be sad, too. So makes sense to me. Hugs my friend and just glad you had a great visit with your mom. And hope you get to visit again with her soon. xoxo <3
Awww, what a precious time spent with mom. I’m sure you’re counting the days until the next visit:) We used to have an old joke about O’Hare Airport, “If it’s a Friday and snowing, open your phone book and call all your friends and tell them you’re desperate for a ride to the airport. If they say, “no way,” scratch their names out…they’re really not your *friends.* LOL! –They are definitely a friend if they say they will;) And thank you, for the opportunity to win!
