Faith for your journey, this is the message of, Life Beautiful, the inspirational faith-filled magazine I keep among my favorite things. You will find it right there on my bookshelf, next to my copies of Ruby magazine.
Ruby, your voice, your story. Is a Christian women’s magazine. Most of you know I share it HERE and encourage you to become subscribers. Of course, I love promoting this wonderful magazine and I do hope you will purchase your issue on Amazon. Better yet, subscribe and get a copy in your mailbox once a month.
Electronic everything is really taking its toll on how the written word is delivered. Will we lose the textile sensation of holding a book or magazine? Will magazines survive, what about newspapers? Will searching dusty books stacks in the library disappear? I know I’ve mentioned this topic in the past. But, I am passionate about keeping books and magazines in your hands, so please indulge me as I bring it up again.
In the most recent issue of Life Beautiful magazine, the editor, Wanda Ventling, looks to us, Life Beautiful’s devoted readers for suggestions for the future of this lovely magazine. As a reader, the thought of losing this magazine and all that it stands for is difficult.
After 12 years of publishing this beautiful faith-based magazine, they are now trying to find ways to keep going. With their staff taking on extra jobs to keep their passion alive. They are juggling thoughts of increasing their web presence, closing the magazine altogether or the possibility of publishing only once or twice a year.
So…my vote to avoid losing the printed copy is to increase their web presence and publish two amazing over the moon issues a year with a bonus edition at Christmas. I’ll forward this on to Ms. Ventling. I hope you will get a copy and send her your thoughts too.
If you are not already a reader/subscriber I encourage you to go to any fine bookseller and pick up the latest copy or go to their website to order. Share it with your friends and family and you will know just what a treasure it really is. Because I can’t save this amazing magazine alone, and I have the privilege of having so many wonderful readers, I’m hoping sharing with you will help.

I agree — I love to hold a magazine or book. I do read books on my Kindle a lot, but I love to page through actual magazines, with all of the beautiful photography. I’m not familiar with Life Beautiful, so I will look for it!
I’ll let my wife know about those magazines.
