  1. My husband and I reside in Missouri where the winter weather changes sooo often. In Dec we will be married 41 years and have not missed a year yet of making a huge snowman, a cute snowman couple or even a trio (when we adopted our 14 mth old daughter from Russia). That was the most memorable in 1997. Every year we create a theme. The largest one for a male snowman wearing a snow trooper’s hat, belt.shirt/pants. Yes u guessed he retired from Patrol after 30 yrs and didn’t leave a detail missing from “the bear” . He was fortunate and was not working that snowy day rescuing stranded travelers. Merry Christmas and blessings to u and your family.

  2. It has been years since I have built a snowman! I used to enjoy making them too! The winters have gotten way too cold and my body has grown old!

  3. I can’t even remember the last time I made a snow ⛄️ man! The cold effects my body too much. These winters are getting more and more brutal here. I loved making snowmen and dressing them up!

  4. Last time I made a real snowman was in the late 70’s when a weather system dumped tons of snow in South Jersey. Roads were clogged and no one was going anywhere soon. I happened to live in East Camden, directly across the street from the side entrance to my company. My boss phoned me early the next morning to say he was calling to tell me they were closing because of the weather. He said he had decided to call me first before other employees because I had, ahem, “the furthest to go”… lol!

I didn’t need to go far to celebrate the unexpected day off. I made a smiling snowman right on my front step, and accessorized his plump self with a colorful scarf. On the morrow, my company re-opened, since the city had been working nonstop to clear roads. The plows finally got around to making a pass on our side street, walling in the shoveling efforts of neighbors who were still laboring to dig out their cars. I made enough of a path through the wall, and crossed the street to the cleared sidewalk on the other side. And, before I disappeared through the door to my company, I turned and gave a wave goodbye to my snowman! He defied the general warming that doesn’t let snow accumulation last in South Jersey, companionably staying for over a week before slowly melting into history, along with the packed remnants of the snow that storm had left behind.

  5. The last time I made a snow man would have been in 1999, then I moved to south Texas. We don’t do snow here very often.

  6. We made a snowman several times with the kids last winter. We are still waiting for enough snow to fall so we can make one this year. Thanks for the super giveaway opportunity.

  7. Oh, wow! I had to stop and think. But, the last time I made a snowman is when we were living in South Carolina, and we got a huge snow while some dear friends were visiting. It was rare to get that much snow there, so we all went out together and made a beautiful snowman. I will never forget that day or the warmth that filled my heart in the surrounding chilling cold. It is a special memory, indeed!

  8. Last year was the last time I made a snowman. It was the first time our daughter had seen snow! She was so excited, we spent the whole day outside.

  9. OMG. don’t even remember when the last time was; years & years ago I guess when I was in my early 20’s, so around 50 years ago.

  11. I’m new to blogs. But love this. Will be keeping up with you. I live on Gulf Coast, so it is not snowing. A rather cool 59° But I’ll get over it.

  12. The last time was probably about 10-12 yrs ago with a young niece at the time. She is now 16 and they have moved to a state that rarely gets snow.
