Christmas Cookies and the TFT Party

All five of our grandchildren will be coming over for Christmas Cookie Day next week, and ….yippeee! This week’s surprise feature theme is, you guessed it ( okay it’s in the title, LOl) this week I’m shining the light on some of the wonderful and uniquely different Christmas cookies shared at last week’s party.

Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 12-2 to 12-6 on my blog. On Tuesday morning were Peppermint and Chocolate Mousse Bars. Wednesday was my Grasshopper Thin Mint Cheesecake. And wrapping up the second week of Christmas baking is a decadent Cherpumple Cake. Enjoy!

Oh my goodness, Katie, those cookies beg for milk, tea, coffee…..Mrs. Kringle’s Santa’s whiskers immediately caught my eye, and I know Mr. P. would love those gingersnaps with peppermint. Thank you for this sweet theme today, and I hope you and your grands enjoy your own baking delights. Hi Katherine! Hope you have a lovely time baking with your grandchildren – I can’t tell you how wonderful that sounds to me, a passionate baker! I can’t wait and until then, I’ll have to settle for baking with the furry grandchild that was visiting and helping me in the kitchen this week (peeks of her at #68). Christmas cookies are always a great tradition 🙂 Tasty and a great way to spend some family time. We made peppermint cookies the other day and one of the kids helped me shape them with our hands instead of rolling them out. It was fun and they were delicious! These cookies you shared look delicious too.
