This week’s feature theme is, Creating Ambiance. Whether you are looking to create a spa day or a quiet candlelight dinner on the patio, this week’ s features know how to create ambiance.

South House Designs added sheer curtains to her patio, a lovely way to add romantic ambiance. Candles always add ambiance to a space, and Virginia Sweet Pea shared her lakeside patio, filled with mood making ideas. If you need to relax, a home spa day is made extra special with some handmade beeswax soap shared by Kiku Corner. Fresh flowers add ambiance in a variety of ways. Mantel and Table shared her lovely cut flowers in displays throughout her home. I love the cozy reading nook she created.

  7. Beeswax soap is calling my name – and all of your features engage my senses, Katherine. Thanks for all you do to bring light to the web by gathering kind hearts here. I’m sharing a glimpse of my garden at #157, and with our weather in Northern Illinois, it is finally safe (hopefully!) to begin planting. I’m not a very skilled gardener, but my plan is to spend as much time in the dirt as possible this summer. When I’m near to the earth in that way, prayers come easily and I can think of few things more powerful than that during this season. It is how I know to be an activist right where I am. Sending you a lovely blooming bouquet of grace. xox

  15. Thanks for hosting! While mostly homebond, I’ve been armchair traveling by going through hundreds of photos from last year’s bucket list vacation to South America. Sharing our amazing cruise in the Galapagos with wildlife photography to remind us that nature perseveres and so will we. #60.
