Birthday Giveaway
Hello friends, it’s my birthday today, let’s have a birthday giveaway! I’m 60 today. Every year I give you a chance to enter and win a prize to celebrate my birthday. As you know, 60 is a milestone birthday ( and the new 40, LOL). I thank God for letting me stick around and pray I will be here for a while more.
This year is a particularly difficult one with Covid 19. I live in Utah and our state is in the Red right now. So essential businesses only and no gatherings, etc. So I will have a “drive by” birthday celebration. Next year I plan to have a huge party to celebrate all of the Covid 19 birthdays, graduation, anniversaries, holidays, etc. that we couldn’t celebrate properly.
Turning 60 is like standing on the threshold of my second part, chapter 2 of my life, the second half of life. Not literally of course, can you imagine living to be 120? I welcome this change that will allow me the opportunity to move forward, uncertain of what opportunities are ahead. My trust in God and His intentions for me will lead the way.

Happy Birthday!!! My favorite gift was my sister asking me to be her son’s Godmother! PJ arrived almost exactly 3 months after my 40th birthday, & he’s been such a Blessing to me! I was planning to spend my 60th birthday in January with him & his sister, but that looks like it will have to be delayed because of Covid! Hopefully, things will be better later on in 2021, & we’ll be able to have a belated celebration!

My grandson was born 4 days before my birthday so he is my favorite present.

My favorite birthday gift wasn’t one gift but several. One particular birthday, my sweetie gave me 24 gifts, one for every hour. They weren’t big gifts but each was something he knew I liked. 1 hour it was vanilla candles because vanilla is my favorite scent and 1 hour was my favorite fruit, pineapples and so on. I loved that there was so much thought put into it.

I am so excited to have the exact same birthday as you. My favorite gift is having the birthday I have, right after a holiday. I’m 57 today and am so glad to have the birthday right after Halloween. No favorite birthday gift; as I just feel blessed in getting to my 71st birthday a couple weeks ago. I feel, everyday that I’m here on earth and my6 feet are above ground, it’s a great gift.

I was able to spend a vacation with my father. He passed three yrs ago. He and my mother were going to go on a trip to Alaska but one of my sister’s was pregnant and the other had just adopted a child so my mother wanted to stay to help them. My father asked if I wanted to go and I did. It just so happens to have my birthday be one of the days we were on the trip. So being able to spend time with my father and being someplace I would probably have not been able to go was such a treat and a wonderful birthday gift.
One year my husband bought me a certificate for a massage. It was so relaxing, and I loved it!

Happy Birthday. I know it is NOT the ideal circumstances, but I have always said that we are VERY BLESSED in these times! Not only do we have Internet, television., our fancy phones, Amazon, wonderful medical staff and medicines, but we have our faith and wonderful God. Yes, it is a challenge, but it is a great way to become closer to Him! So many things for us to be thankful for! Our forefathers did NOT have these wonderful luxuries, did they?
Anyway, I really can’t chose a favorite birthday gift. Possibly my Roomba!
