Thoughts on April

Hello friends, April is one of my favorite months of the year. Is it weird that I have favorite months? April for it’s rain showers and Easter. May for our daughter’s birthday, June our wedding anniversary (married for 20 years June 1st). October brings my second favorite season, autumn and the celebration of my sweet hubby’s birthday. December for Christmas and winter days and nights. (smile)

April gives me pause to reflect on the months and days already behind me this year, and to look forward to enjoying the spring season with anticipation of flowers blooming, green buds on the trees and more barbecues!

I have hope that April showers will be plentiful and that May flowers will make their appearance. Our daffodils are blooming, I shared a photo on Instagram HERE. I invite you to join me and of course I will follow you back.

I enjoy hearing more birds singing now and we are sleeping with the windows wide open, even in our crazy Utah weather. It brings a breath of fresh air throughout the house. Good Friday is April 15th and Easter Sunday is April 17^th. But did you know today is Deep Dish Pizza Day?
