Cinco De Mayo and the TFT Blog Hop 555
Hello friends happy TFT day and Happy Cinco De Mayo! Welcome all, old friends and new! Today you are joining a Thursday blog hop that has been a joy for many of us for several years. The first TFT blog hop was waaay back on Sept 15th 2011 which makes this the 555th TFT blog hop. So happy cinco, cinco, cinco day! (smile)
When TFT first began I would invite a co-hostess to join me each week. A lot has happened since that first blog hop. Bloggers have come and gone, hostesses too, and sadly the number of blogs joining every week has dropped way down. But, one thing has stayed the same, this weekly Thursday party for blog writers and blog readers brings joy to all who participate and that makes me very happy (smile). Now onto the party.

How are my features picked?
I usually have an idea what theme I will look for when it’s time for features. I go through the bloggers who left their link number then search all posts. I put my selections all together and draw 4 blogs to feature.

Just a quick reminder, when you share your posts each week nobody knows what the feature theme will be. Not even me! I don’t select a theme until after the party ends. Hi Katherine. Sorry to hear that participation has declined for TFT, but I wonder if may also be counted as a win. If folks are being more present in their unplugged lives and maybe doing more socializing after years of isolation rather than staying tethered to their devices, that may be better for everyone! If I didn’t rely on my blog for business, I would certainly use my time in a different way. I’m sharing at #24, 26, and 29 and appreciate the opportunity to share. Thanks for hosting and surfing the ups and downs of this strange world of media! 🙂
