A Prayer Request
Hello friends, today I have a prayer request, will you pray with me? My sweet Mum ( aka Mom ) has been suffering a long time with her hip. It has kept her from doing the things she loves. So, I ask you all to join me in prayer as she has hip replacement surgery today.
Believing God’s word will instill the power of our faith and enrich our prayer.
Merciful Lord, we come to You today to ask You to lift up your child Nellie as she undergoes a surgical procedure that will improve her quality of life. She is a woman of faith and trusts you God in all ways. Please surround her with Your love and presence. We pray that You will comfort her and give her strength to endure this procedure and its recovery.
Lord, please guide the minds, hearts and hands of the surgeons and medical staff as they minister Your gift of healing. Please bless them with the means to treat her as the precious soul that she is. May they be blessed with wisdom and knowledge to perform the procedure with excellence. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

I went to a very small school in a rural area. One of my favorite memories is playing Hopscotch with some of my friends. I just recently remembered this and played a game of it with my oldest Granddaughter.

Oh, sweetie, I know this mom pain. My mom fell years ago and broke her hip and had surgery. A few months afterward was my brother’s wedding and Mom was determined to walk the aisle without a walker. And she did! I know your mom will be just as determined to get back in the swing of things after she’s gone through rehab. Praying in agreement with all that is on your heart for her. And may the Lord bless you both with a special touch of His presence. ❣️
