Make Something and the TFT Blog Hop
Hello friends, welcome to the TFT blog hop number 573. Before we start, thank you so much to everyone for your prayers and well wishes for my mother. The surgery went well and she is home and under the watchful eye of my brother and his wife. I’ll keep you posted as things progress in her recovery. She has suffered a long time with that hip, I sure hope this surgery improves her quality of life. She used to go on long walks and play outside, she was very “out doorsie”. Okay it’s party time, are you ready to share? Because I can’t wait to see what link up this week. I’m so happy you are here. About the TFT blog hop– When TFT began I would invite a co-hostess to join me each week. A lot has happened since that first blog hop. Bloggers have come and gone, hostesses too. But your hostesses now are blog rock stars! One thing has stayed the same. This weekly Thursday party for blog writers and blog readers brings joy to all who participate and that makes me very happy (smile). I often find myself hopping to the wonderful blogs and saying “that’s clever”. I pin and I do my best to comment. This weeks features are all about diy and craftiness. So lets make something!

How are my features picked?
I don’t select a theme until after the party ends. I usually have an idea what theme I will look for when it’s time for features. I go through the bloggers who left their link numbers, and then I search all links. I put all my selections together and draw four blogs to feature.
When you share your posts each week nobody knows what the feature theme will be. All of the hostesses have features too, be sure to stop by their blogs to say thank you. xo

- Someone is celebrating a blog-a-ver-sary, so I thought we could celebrate with her. Congratulations on another year of being awesome . She’s been blogging for 8 years, well done my friend.
- I also have an extra feature today made by one of my favorite card makers, Linda from Paper Seedlings. She made this beautiful card, I think it could be used for any occasion. Please note, my favorite color and butterfly too. So pretty!

Katherine, I’m so glad your mother is recovering from surgery. God’s healing and comfort on her! Thank you so much for featuring my daughter’s bedroom. We (grandma, daughter and grand-daughter) had such a good time painting it together. Hope you try it in your bathroom!
