Tastes Like Summer
Hello friends! Do you have a favorite summer food? Something seasonal that you just can’t wait to eat, or drink, something that just tastes like summer? I do! I hope you’ll enjoy adding some of my favorites to your summer table.
Anything fresh from the garden is always at the top of my list. We are already reaping the rewards of hubby’s hard work. Cucumbers, zucchini, and fresh green beans have been delicious parts of our meals.
We have plenty of green tomatoes ready to be blushed by the sun soon too.

One of our favorite summer recipes. Fresh garden green beans and mushrooms.
Any fresh salad tastes like summer when you use veggies from the garden or from your local farm. This simple spaghetti salad always tastes like summer to me. Caprese Salad and Potato Salad follow closely.
Anything cooked on the barbecue, tastes like summer. Have you ever tried barbecue corn on the cob? It’s sooo yummy (smile).
Watermelon, cherries and fresh strawberries always taste like summer to me.
Popsicles, snow cones, ice tea, and ice cream are also on the top of my Tastes Like Summer list. What’s on your list?

Oh, it all looks so good! I wanted to have a garden this year, but it didn’t happen. Maybe next year. My daughter and her husband have an amazing one. xo
I hope you get to have one next year. My hubby’s garden is amazing, but things are coming fast and furious now, LOL so I need to create new recipes for zucchini xo
