Blogging Etiquette-

A few simple rules to follow when you visit other blogs.

Comments– Be kind, leave meaningful comments. Look through their blog and comment on more than one post when you visit.(Remember never leave your url in the comment area) I know this seems obvious. But be respectful. when you visit a blog you are visiting someone personal space. Imagine visiting someone’s home and walking in and commenting about their home. Please keep that in mind when you leave comments.

Linking- If you are linking to a blog hop be sure to follow the host/hostesses

Share– if you like what you’ve read, share it on your social networks, pin it to your pinterest board .

Make a Connection– If you discover a blog you really enjoy, follow them! Through email and social networks too.

Don’t Spam–  When you leave a comment you are commenting on their blog not promoting yours.

Give Credit- You must link back and credit your blog sources, images etc. Respect others intellectual property and images.

Link Back-be sure to link back all of your resources, images,etc that belong to someone else ( or link back to your blog hosts website) add the “link” website,blog,page etc of the resource by including a url of the resource.

Don’t be anonymous– Make sure your comment is identified, by your gravatar, url etc.

Rules- follow blog hop rules.

Blog Hop Etiquette– Don’t take advantage of a blog hop,leave only one or two links
