Mummys the Word
I’m not a fan of Halloween but I am always a fan of creativity. One of my favorite carved pumpkin diy’s is this mummy pumpkin. One pumpkin ( white or painted white) a knife toothpicks and dry beans ( peas or kidney work best) flameless candle. Slice the top off and remove the inside of the pumpkin. then slice a few pieces out of the middle leaving a solid base. Move the slices around and secure with toothpicks. Use dry beans for eyes. Thank you Womans Day 2013. I also like these creative mummys the word diy’s and I think you will too!

me too equal opportunity spookiness, Hugs
Thank you for sharing this lovely party.
my pleasure Hugs!
I like creativity as well. I’m not much for the blood and gore, but I have fond memories of dressing up and trick or treating as a child, and the kindness my neighbors showed me during these fun evenings! I like all of these ideas. I usually tried to make a “themed” dinner on Halloween, and struggled to find savory ideas (MANY sweet treats, but then again, they were about to go out and get a bunch of candy!) I do have to say that the mummy dumplings look really good:)
These are so fun and perfect for Halloween!
I don’t decorate much for Halloween but I do think I’ll make the pillow. Hugs!
cute mummy ideas!
so fun, I’m thinking I’ll make the pillow this year. Hugs!
The pillow would be so easy! They are all cute. I don’t like Halloween very much although I blogged about a “scary” children’s book today. I really don’t like scary, I guess, but these mummies are all cute!
I think so too. I scaled back the decorations a lot but this year I think our grandchildren will enjoy making some of these. I think the pillow is on the list xo
Cute ideas. Not a Halloween fan either, but those were clever.
we are two peas in a pod my friend. Hugs
I am with you on the mummy love this time of the year. I have a Mummy (Hot) Dogs recipe on my own blog, which I just recently updated and will be posting a cute Dollar Store Mummy Craft soon, too. So definitely is the season now! Happy Wednesday now, Katie xoxo <3
