Did You Know It Does Take A Village
The other night hubby and I were chatting about the Gift Guide I created, and the unbelievable amount of time it took to take all of the photos, put it together, etc. I am woman hear me roar…oh wait.. not so much. Did you know the laundry piles grow even faster if you pretend not to see them by shielding your eyes as you walk past the laundry room?
Did you know you eating late is for the younger generation? Did I really just write the younger generation…ugh…If you’re a boomer you know what I mean. No eating less than two hours before bedtime. Not only do you risk the possibility of falling asleep in your food, but every antacid you have in the house ends up on your nightstand.
Age Guide-
Millennials are age 21-37 right now
Gen Xers are age 38-53 right now
and we Boomers are age 54-72 right now
Did you know there are a limited amount of times that you can say ” what did I get myself into” before people will start to question your sanity? I think 100 is the number.
Did you know it does take a village? Okay, I know this is a borrowed statement, but one we all know well. Sometimes you just need a little help from your family and friends. If Joe Cocker’s song is now stuck in your head, I’m sorry. Please click here and you can sing along with Joe. But then come back, please.
Hubby and I decided the magic number is 500. Did you know It will take 500 people sharing the gift guide to bring in the shoppers needed for it to be a success?
Back to it takes a village….Why do I think asking for your help is the right thing to do?… Hmmm, well you are all AWESOME, and incentives can be awesome too? We decided we will have a random drawing of all who share the gift guide and send a lovely thank you gift to keep or give this holiday season to one winner.
These are the options we propose, no money needed! Do one, or do them all, it’s completely up to you. All you have to do is write in the comments what you did to help share the gift guide and how to find it. Then when we reach 500 we’ll have the drawing!
