The Easter Question
Hello friends, it’s Easter Sunday! What does this day mean? It means that through Jesus Christ you may be released from the fear of death. “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though He dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. John 11:25-26
“I am the resurrection and the life.” Can you see how personal this is? He doesn’t say, “I bring resurrection and life” He says “I am the resurrection and the life.” In the presence of Jesus, death is no longer death as we think of it. It is something else entirely.
Do you know there is an often-ignored question that follows John 11:25-26.
What is the question? It is simple but mighty. He asks, “Do you believe this?” If you skip the question, then you miss the whole point Jesus is making.
These words have been a light and a hope to the faithful for thousands of years. We recite them because they express our deepest faith in Jesus Christ.
- Do you believe that when Jesus died on the Cross, He died in your place, bearing your punishment, and paying for your sins?
- Do you believe on Easter morning He literally (physically) rose from the dead never to die again?
- Do you believe that Jesus is truly the resurrection and the life and that He is able to remove the terror of death for those who trust him?
Are you willing to bet your life on your answers?
Please don’t hide your light under a bushel. It would mean a lot to me if you answer the questions in the comment section. If you are shy I would love to hear from you. You can contact me HERE.
I wish you all a very Happy Easter filled with love, faith and lots of happy memory making. Love from Minister Katherine

Yes I believe and have for many years! As a child enjoyed all the activities surrounding Easter. Moma dressed us in our best. Hats, gloves, dresses, purses and patent shoes. No easy fete for family of five children. Went to sunrise service then breakfast and more church. After lunch egg dying and egg hunts! Moma has a strong faith at 94 and has lived long enough to know that all of her children have accepted Christ in their life due to her persist taking us and participating in church. I pray I see that day with my children. He lives!
Hello Connie what a lovely faith filled celebration you shared and continue to enjoy through happy memories. I hope you will be able to continue it as well. All in God’s time. Hugs and happy Easter, He Lives!
