Okay, I know it’s not actually summer yet . But, for me the long Memorial Day weekend ( here in the US) is the “unofficial” start of summer fun. I’m sharing my Summer Bench today it is ready for me…
and I’m ready for sitting outside, playing in the water, grilling on the barbecue, bike rides, and plenty of happy memory making.
No matter if you enjoy your weekend away from home or right in your own backyard, I hope the weather cooperates and that your weekend is filled with plenty of food ,fun and laughter.

Trying to stay cool around these parts – temperatures have already been in the high 90’s! Might go out on the lake sometime this weekend and, of course, we will have to grill out some burgers. Hope you have a wonderful safe weekend.

I plan out busting out the parka and trying to keep warm since the weather has turned to frost temps here again! Have a great and warm Memorial Day!
I don’t have any plans, I’m trying to convince my husband to go hiking.
We were supposed to fly to DC to see the new grandbaby (two weeks old today) but little man has a bad earache (on antibiotics) so I don’t want him to fly. We missed going last week because he had a 24 hour flu. I’m not worried though, we’ll see the sweet little one soon.

Since my daughter picked up my son and is taking him to his house, I plan to have a nice, long, relaxing weekend of peace and quite, provided I don’t get any emergency calls.

Hi Katy, sweet thing! Oh yes, I agree with all these things. Let’s hope we all have a wonderful Summer. Enjoy your long weekend my friend. We have a three day weekend over here as well. We’re going to meet up with friends and have a day out on Monday. The rest of the time, we will just be relaxing. I have just started water colour classes, so I will probably experiment with that 🙂
