It is my pleasure to provide a review for Covered Perfectly. I received the lovely blue top. It arrived packaged well and true to the color on the website. I couldn’t wait to try it on. This is my second top from Covered Perfectly and I need to tell you up front, I am a fan. The length of this top is perfect, I mean perfect. I love a tunic or tunic length. I’m tall and this top fits just right.
The fabric is so soft and the color doesn’t wash out. Washing is easy too, just wash shake and hang to dry. I wore this top for our Christmas Card photo this year and have received several compliments. This top is a bit more fitted than the Simple Comfort top I had the pleasure of reviewing ( please see below). But I love it! I am a fan, of Covered Perfectly styles and the Micro Modal fabric used.
Once again I am happy to provide another five-star review. I highly recommend Covered Perfectly for women of all ages.
Light Ups Product Review LED Light Up Sneakers

When I was invited to review Light Ups LED sneakers for adults I must admit I was a bit skeptical. Shoes that light up are for children, I used to buy them for our youngest grandson. But, then It occurred to me that jogging, walking and other outdoor activities could benefit by wearing Light Ups in the dusk and dark hours of the day to provide a bit of safety.
I received the Light Ups in the white color sneaker I requested. It’s important to note that I often have difficulty finding shoes that fit well (particularly sneakers) as I have a high instep. I ordered ½ size larger than I usually wear. They are comfortable and have a nice feel. But, they are a bit heavy. They appear to be made well and clean up is easy just a wet wipe and the scuffs come off.
You don’t use batteries to keep the lights on, they come with their very own charger! Very “George Jetson-ish” ( wink). To turn on you just reach inside the sneaker and there’s a little button to push and make your color selection ( just keep clicking until you get to the color you want). The sneakers are FUN to wear and they are great conversation starters. I’ve been wearing them for a quite a few days and I’ll turn them on just before I go into a public place. I like the blinking lights, they give me a Disco, lets boogey vibe.
There are several colors you can click on or you can just wear them without the lights on. Overall a fine product and lots of fun too. I’m happy I had the opportunity to review them, we can all use a little extra fun in our lives. I’m putting a video on Instagram too.
Covered Perfectly Simple Comfort Top Review

I am Not an “official” fashion blogger. So, when Pauline, the owner of Covered Perfectly (you can read her story here) contacted me for a review of her Simple Comfort Scoop Neck top made with MicroModal® fabric. I was not only flattered, but happy to accept her request. I don’t know how the fashion bloggers do it. Their photos always look great. As you can see I stood in my bathroom to take mine.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the lovely color and how wonderfully soft and luxurious the fabric is. The Simple Comfort top is made with MicroModal® fabric and has been referred to as the softest fabric in the world. I must agree the fabric is soft and it certainly feels great against my skin. The best part is no matter what contortion I get myself into when I take photos for Katherines Corner or my shops the Simple Comfort top moved comfortably and there was no pulling or tugging to get it twisted back into shape.
The luxurious MicroModal® fabric care is a little different than your average fabric. You wash it on gentle in cool water and with NO fabric softener ( it is pre-softened). You hang it or lay it flat to dry and then give it a shake and put it on. Any wrinkles that were there after washing have fallen right out. I DO NOT recommend ironing this top. Instead if you find you have a stubborn wrinkle, use a steamer on light mist or hang the top in a steamy bathroom for a few minutes.
Since I am 5’9” I prefer my tops to be tunic length or to rest just below the hips. The ¾ length sleeves are perfect too, as I tend to push my long sleeves up a bit. The top went well with my long black maxi sweater
and as you can see it looks great with black leggings too. Covered Perfectly has a wonderful variety of fashions for women of a certain age. All styles are presented as fashions for women over 40. However, that should not deter younger women from wearing her fashions, they can add their own youthful accents too. My overall impression is great! I am writing this review today with high hopes that San Antonio Shoemakers™ (SAS) Pampa sandal will prove to be as comfortable as they are attractive. You may not recognize the name, but I have a feeling you will remember seeing their ads in several fine publications like these.
When San Antonio Shoemakers™ (SAS) requested a review I knew straight away the style I’d want. I prefer the toe wrap style more than the thong (between the toe styles). Their Pampa sandal is just what I like. At San Antonio Shoemakers™ (SAS) they are putting American Ingenuity and handmade craftsmanship up to the highest standard, which can make a reviewer like me, have equally high expectations.
I selected the Pampa sandal in chocolate, size 6.5 wide. They arrived in a pretty blue box packed well and exquisitely crafted. Their appreciation for quality and design is immediate. I couldn’t wait to put them on. I spent the weekend walking in my Pampa sandals and I can honestly say it was like “walking on marshmallows”. You can see my walking on marshmallows post here.

When Sports Unlimited asked me to review their Columbia Women’s Benton Springs II Long Hoodie Jacket I was happy to oblige, it gets cold here in Utah! Question- When is it okay to lay your jacket on the couch? Read on for the Answer. The soft fleece of this jacket gets even softer after its first wash. The long sleeves and long torso keep my 5’9” body snuggly and warm. The hood is an extra feature that I really appreciate, perfect for keeping your ears warm and covered when the wind blows. The deep zippered side pockets are just right for stashing my gloves. The style is more modern than boxy like most cold weather jackets, providing a nice silhouette. The Quill color is beautiful! It is also available in black and charcoal.
This is an attractive and comfortable style for a layer of extra protection from the cold. You can wear it alone or under an overcoat. You will be glad you made this practical and attractive purchase.

I received this lovely green scarf from Krama Heritage for a review. I would like to preface my review by saying that the company is owned by Raphael and Alexandru two friends who met while studying at ESSEC business school in France. During a trip to Cambodia they fell in love with the country, the culture and its history. They developed a project in Cambodia creating socially responsible scarves that come directly from Cambodia. The scarf is a traditional scarf of Cambodia. But it has a history not just as a scarf, but for its many uses. It is used as protection against the sun, a baby shoulder sling and even as a towel. It also served as a carrier for cut wood and for straining cooked rice. It is a symbol of Cambodia’s heritage and represents the values of the people; dignity, courage, optimism and love of life.
Krama Heritage began by making an accessory for Parisian fashion worn by men and women of any age. Krama Heritage supports local solidarity in Cambodia and gives work to a cooperative weavers working in ethical conditions. Alexandru and Raphael’s vision of style and social consciousness is extended even more by their contributions to provide education in Cambodia.
I realize that fashion is a personal thing. But wearing something that supports the rebuilding of Cambodia and makes a fashion statement is a beautiful thing. The scarf I received for review is made of lovely shades of green and it is made of a nice woven fabric. It did however have an odd odor when I took it out of the box. I washed it in cold water and laid it flat to dry. I pressed it using a cool iron with a towel between the scarf and the iron and the odor has dissipated quite a bit. But it will most likely need an additional washing. The scarf is a nice length for wrapping or wearing loosely and is finished with a pretty detail of knotted fringe. It also has a logo metal bar sewn onto the scarf. I assume it should be removed before wearing as it is very prominent labeling. But it may be a nice way to show your support if you leave it on the scarf.

Beautifully hand crafted, delicate and feminine, these are the words that spring to mind when I wear these lovely pieces. They arrived nicely packaged and they are absolutely true to the images on the website. I am fond of wearing jewelry that reminds me of the seaside. At Baroni designs they have a whole selection of pieces in their Bella Blue collection inspired by the artist’s favorite beaches. Each piece beautifully created in sterling silver to resemble treasures discovered walking along the beach. The chain for the necklace has an adjustable length so you can easily wear it long or short. The only thing I would change about the earrings is I added earring stoppers (little rubber pieces placed on the earring wires that keep your earrings from falling out) to keep these lovely treasures from falling out. However, this does not deter from the precious five star rating.

Eyewear is a very personal thing and buying eyewear on the internet can be intimidating. It’s hard to know if you will like them if you haven’t tried them on. But after ordering my reading glasses and sunglasses from Firmoo I am pleasantly surprised. The lenses are clear and they fit my face well. They are nicely manufactured and came packaged well to avoid any hazards in shipping from overseas. The readers are the correct strength and wearing them is comfortable and I love the retro style.
However the sunglasses lenses are not very dark and I still squint when I am in the sun, but I love the style. You do have to wait a little longer than you would at a stateside shop. But they provide a variety of styles and sizes and the prices can’t be beat.

I wore my “new favorite” cardigan the other day. The silver dipped cardigan from Coldwater Creek. I like how soft it is and the silver threads make it feel a bit dressy too, even with my jeans. The one-button knit is generously cut and it has nice long sleeves, which I love!
I am absolutely comfortable in my new denim blue Tencel® tunic . I love the length of this top and the fabric is so soft! I am crazy for tunics and Coldwater Creek has several to choose from.
When its time for some serious power lounging I am comfortable in my soft blue drawstring pants from Coldwater Creek. I am always thrilled when I find clothes long enough for my 5 foot 9 inch body. They have a large variety of clothing for the tall woman. They also have sizes for petites, misses and womens sizes too.
Coldwater Creek gets a huge five star rating from me for its quality, style and fit. My overall experience with Coldwater Creek online shopping was excellent. When I was contacted by the representative of the Cutey Charm Bracelet company I was thrilled to discover that it is a newer company just founded last year. I love being involved in things when they are just getting underway.
I have always been a fan of charm bracelets and the cutey charm bracelets do not disappoint. They are fashionable, and affordable. Cutey may be based in the UK but they ship worldwide.
Their bracelets come in a variety of styles and have “cute” names too. One thing that grabbed my attention straight away is the clasp. The cutey bracelet clasp is disguised. It resembles one of the beads on the bracelet, which is wonderful because the beads and charms are lovely! Each bracelet has several beads and accent charms and they all move easily on a silver tone rope cord, there’s even room to add a few more charms if you would like. They offer free shipping to the UK too which is an added bonus for our friends across the pond.
Over all I found the cutey charm bracelet to be a “cute” accessory for your outfit. The affordable prices makes it easy to buy several, so you can have one in every color. Or wear several at once for a wonderful stacked bracelet look.
