Colored Eggs
Admit it… you knew it was coming, right? I would lose serious Grandma points if I didn’t. I must blog about our wonderful Easter celebration, I must! I hope your holiday was as sweet as ours.
I was thankful the weather held out because the weather here in Utah has been Crazy!
We hid 70 Easter eggs and they were all found in a a matter of minutes. Either we are really rotten at helping the Easter bunny out. Or all of our grandchildren are terrific detectives.
After the egg hunt we waited for our master chef to barbeque our burgers. I know not a traditional Easter meal. But, oh so Delicious . Sorry no photo, they were eaten before I had a chance to take a picture.
After dinner and a little bit of chocolate ( some chocolate bunnies may have left our home without ears) A peep cake prepared by our daughter was served. Cute, right?
Afterwards we were all treated to a bit of entertainment.
We had a wonderful time making happy memories. Did the weather cooperate where you live? Enjoy your weekend. Don’t forget to get your entry in for the What’s Cooking Giveaway!!

Love the pictures! Amazing that you hid 70 eggs but not so amazing that they were found! My grandchildren are far away and unfortunately I didn’t get to be with them, but I know that had a great Easter and had a lovely day. We sure had a beautiful day here in NC! Hugs and blessings to you1

It sounds like you had a wonderful Easter! Your photos and post are lovely.
Our weather on Easter was wonderful, we spent a quiet day at home.
My 93 year old Grandad called me to wish me a “Happy Easter! “
Glad you had a nice Easter weekend. Easter weekend was beautiful, too, in Arkansas!

Our Easter was a quiet day spent at home. The grands live in TX as you know and they were busy out there this year. I know they had a fun time with their mom and after Good Friday celebrations with friends it was honestly nice just to spend a quiet day at home. Your Easter looks like it was an amazing day and a beautiful one at that! ~Big hugs, xoxo

For Florida’s weather to “cooperate” the temperature would need to plunge 20 degrees so that you’d actually enjoy being outside. The weather did not cooperate. I’m very happy to know that you had such a nice Easter, Katie, and it’s great to see pics of your family!
Our weather was fine, but I didn’t get to spend Easter with my grands… they all had better offers. I don’t blame them one bit for accepting those offers, either, they had a great time and that’s what counts.
