Put Your Feet Up
Happy Monday friends, I hope you all enjoyed a great weekend with a bit of rest and a bit of play. We had both rain and snow so I was blissful, in my art room working on new designs. After a few hours I just sat back and put my feet up and watched an old Star Trek movie. As I looked through all of your lovely posts from last weeks TFT party. I found several posts that encourage us to be comfy and to put your feet up no matter what day of the week it is. I’m happy to shine a light on a few of them today. Just a reminder that I also feature blog posts at the TFT party each week. Please take a moment to click back to last week’s TFT party HERE when you are done and see if you missed anything. If you have somehow missed our party, I cordially invite you to join us every Thursday for a blog writer and blog reader party like no other. Please click on the photo to go to the original blog to comment, pin, etc. I always want to make sure the original blogger gets the credit. I’d love it if you’d pin my collage though… wink, wink, nudge nudge.
Are you new to Monday Inspirations? No problem here’s the scoop. Monday inspirations has taken the place of Make It Monday. Still inspiring us in a zillion ways but with one very fun twist. I will select a theme, but when you share your posts you won’t know what theme I have selected. Aha a little mystery! Then I will share some of your wonderful posts. I will still be featuring a few other selected posts at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop too. Remember to leave a comment and your link number when you party with us on Thursday’s. Just a reminder that all of the photos belong to their respective blogs unless otherwise indicated. Please pin from the source to assure bloggers are getting the credit they deserve. Each individual blog image is clickable. If you missed a Monday Inspiration or Make It Monday you can find them all HERE.
The lovely Marty from A Stroll Thru Life gets us started with a tour of her beautiful home and all it’s spring time glory. I love her chairs! I would enjoy putting my feet up and reading a good book in one of them.
Jenna, the sweet blogger at Rain on a Tin Roof, shared her wonderful mix of traditional and casual living. Her couch cries out, “bring a book and put your feet up” What? you can’t hear it? Oh, okay …just me then.. giggle. Are the chairs speaking to you? They are speaking to me , now I’m wondering if the talking furniture might, lead me to a doctor, LOL. I love her chairs too. I’m currently obsessing over chairs. I’ll explain why next week.
Jenn from Notting Grace is a new bloggy friend and I found her Entryway update to be a great place to put your feet up too. Raise your hands if you have planted yourself on a stair a time or two while going through the mail, on the way to do something else or just because you had to put your feet up immediately. You know, because, the ground was lava or filled with imaginary sharks ( playtime with grandchildren). Oh thank goodness… I see a hand going up way in the back, thank you.
While I’m telling you to put your feet up, the lovely Jessa from Sparkle Living shared 5 tips for running with a baby stroller, yes I see the irony here, stroller, actually has the word stroll in it…LOL. Do you call them strollers or prams where you are? I’ve always called them prams until they invented the folding umbrella baby stroller. That is definitely a stroller. I invite you to put your feet up after you’ve been running with a baby stroller, preferably with a baby inside.
Well there you have it my friends, wonderful Put Your Feet Up Monday Inspirations to start your week. Enjoy your day and I’ll see you back here on Wednesday! You deserve a break, I invite you to put your feet up. Thank you for spending time on my little corner of blogland.
The pop of color in the tulip bouquet are beautiful! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m ready for God’s beautiful spring color palette!
Me too Stephanie! Here’s hoping we will all be enjoying spring blooms soon. hugs
Counting steps – I like that.
Nothing wrong with enjoying a Star Trek film.
Hubby is meeting and beating his 10,000 steps every day. We wear pedometers to help He’s losing inches off his waist and I swear they are landing on me, LOL. hugs!
I loved that staircase update too! Have a wonderful day Katherine!
Good morning Laura, hoping you have a day that makes you smile. xo
Such great Monday inspiration here, especially the stairs redo as we are actually redoing our stairs right now. So definitely sharing this one with my husband for inspiration. Thanks Katie for sharing here and Happy Monday once again 🙂 xoxo <3
Hello sweet friend. I know nothing like getting your feet up in someplace lovely. xo
