Christmas on the Porch
I am tickled to be part of the Christmas Porches and Door Decor Tour hosted by my lovely friend and TFT hostess, Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home. This time of year is one of my favorites for decorating. You will see that my supervisor was close at hand. Please join me as I share our Christmas on the Porch with you complete with animated reindeer! Please know that none of this could happen without hubby’s help ( he’s awesome). On a side note, taking photos of the porch made me realize that it’s time to paint the front door. I already have it on my Spring to do list ( wink). I refreshed this wreath last year and added a gold bow. I have always like door decor throughout the year, it just says welcome.
The lighted trees and garland give a holiday glow in the evening and they are a lovely green in the daylight.
Even the railing gets some Christmas cheer.
A wood crate painted white gets new life on the porch filled with pinecones, greenery, fairy lights and white lace poinsettia petals.
My supervisor Izzy, the official blog dog here on my corner, stays close by. He is always curious about what I am up to and watches me closely. We love him so much.
We’ve had to repair and replace these cute reindeer over the years but they still stand majestically on our porch.
