Thoughts on November
Hello friends, it’s November, one of my favorite months! Today’s thoughts on November have me celebrating my favorite month for a variety of reasons. Not because of my birthday But because it is the month of gratitude, thanks for all things big or small.
Yesterday I was doing a happy dance because a Covid 19 vaccine is on the horizon. Gratitude!
It is a conscious choice to live in gratitude. I know it sounds so “easy” but when things are difficult it can stretch the gratitude meter in the wrong direction. So I ask you to take a moment and leave a comment about a few of the things you are grateful for during the month of November ( or always).
My thoughts on November always include expressing gratitude just a little bit more than usual. Recognizing the simple joys of the first touch of crisp air, and the amazing comfort the warmth of a soft throw and a cup of peppermint tea brings. Simple, wonderful, grateful.

We will all be celebrating Thanksgiving very differently this year. But, the gift of giving thanks will still be present.
I mentioned in a previous post that I would be keeping the Christmas decorations to a minimum this year. Since it’s just me and my hubby ( and of course Izzy). It seems silly to do the whole “Christmas decorating extravaganza” just for the two (three) of us. (smile)
I will be missing the traditional Christmas tree decorating day I spend with our daughter at our home every year. I am always grateful for that special Mother Daughter day.
You may not know it but…she is the Christmas tree whisperer. She has three trees up in her home already this year. I grabbed these photos from her Facebook page. That’s right Mom’s can do that sort of thing. Just grab and go!
She also has a great tip for hanging a garland. You can see here link HERE

November is one of my favorite months of the year! It is a time for harvest and giving gratitude for the many blessings we have received and sharing them with family! So beautiful to watch mother nature getting ready for her long winter nap!
Hello Katherine, this year I am thankful for my family and friends. Although COVID-19 has made many appearances in their homes, it did not conquer. For this I am grateful for their health and well-being. Thanks for sharing your daughter’s Christmas trees, they are so lovely!
I love the cooler temps here in Florida! More hiking! YAY! Happy Fall!
