Christmas Home Tour
Hello friends, I must preface this post by saying “Covid Christmas” makes this Christmas Home Tour a whole lot different than previous years. Minimalism is the word here. But, I’ve included a few links to Christmas ‘ past as well.
Let’s start with the tree, where I had the battle of the angels. I had some scrap silver mesh in my crafty stuff, so I made an angel ( I didn’t love it). I also had a small crochet angel, and well, that is my winner! I know it’s small, but for me it is perfect. If I had more scrap mesh perhaps it would have been a tighter race, (smile).
Which do you prefer?
How many of you noticed that silver ball ornament that went rogue?
Our daughter stopped by a couple of weeks ago and surprised us with a poinsettia for the table and these lovely wooden tags ( Grandpa, Grandma, and Izzy). I don’t know where she found the time to make them, but they are so cute. We hung them on the stockings and this beautiful poinsettia. looks lovely on our table.
Izzy tolerated his interrupted nap while I took a few snaps of the poinsettia.
We are expecting snow and Izzy was keeping an eye out while I decorated the mantel.
The nativity is a must, He is the reason for the season after all.
Well there you have it, our mini Covid Christmas Home Tour ( LOL). I also want to share one more thing with you today. We had a lovely surprise when we came home the other day. I do not want to seem braggadocious, it’s just a bright light moment, that I hope will make you smile. You have to be logged into Facebook to see the lick. Please click HERE to see it on Facebook.
