Unconditional
Hello friends, the sun hasn’t risen yet but I can already feel the heat of the morning warming the air. It’ll be 85 degrees Fahrenheit today and that means I’ll be spending the day inside. It’s a good thing I’m so indoors-y (smile).Right now, at this moment, this 5:35 a.m. moment, I’m enjoying the temperature, and the fragrance of the petunias from the containers on our patio. I wait with a mug of tea in hand for Izzy to make his way back from his morning constitutional.
On this day in 2002 hubby and I declared to God and the world our unconditional love for each other. Although we have been in love since 1999, we celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary today. We give each other cards, sometimes sentimental and sometimes silly. My hubby buys me flowers and we enjoy a nice meal. Tonight, it’ll be our favorite anniversary ribs.
If you’ve been a reader for a while, thank you♥ ,you know this already (smile). Hubby and I don’t buy each other gifts. Instead, we buy something together. In the past our anniversary gifts have been, patio furniture, new bedding, a garden shed, and a fence for the backyard. This year it’ll be new flooring.
A bit of mushy-ness…
To my hubby-
“I Katherine, take thee, Robert, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God’s holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge thee my faith.” My unconditional love speaks to your heart and says these vows to you every day.
Sometimes you are blessed to meet someone who cares for your heart like no other, and your whole life changes, and you find yourself wondering how did I ever live without you in my life. Thank you for always being my “Happy Place”.
Life throws pebbles and sometimes boulders that ripple the sea of our lives. But together we ride the waves or enjoy the calm waters. As long as we are together our boat will always float. Happy Anniversary sweetheart I love you, always and forever.
End of mushy stuff.
1 Corinthians 13 this was part of our wedding ceremony. Enjoy using this free printable ( my watermark is not on the printable) . I enjoy creating free printables for you, I made this for 8.5 x 11 inch standard paper. Please do not sell or claim as your own, but I’d love it if you’d pin it!
I hope everyone enjoyed a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend. It was the unofficial start of summer. Our summer promises to be one spent with family. Unplanned barbecues or simple meals eaten on the patio.
Enjoy your day everyone and I look forward to seeing you back here on Thursday for the best Thursday blog hop in blog land.
