We Will Never Forget

Hello friends, today is Patriot Day. We will never forget that today commemorates the lives of those who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks. The victims and loss of innocent lives during the attack on our country will never be forgotten. Those who perished at the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Virginia and those who perished when the hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania, are all remembered today and always. The first responders, the hospital staff, the volunteers, we will honor everyone. We will never forget. We all know exactly where we were and what we were doing on that day, we will never forget.

Loving and gracious God, please hear us as we cry for those lost and those left behind. We pray that they have comfort and peace. As we remember the horrifying events of September 11, 2001, please hold us in the shelter of Your Enduring Love. We pray that such events will not occur again. Let us release all anger, worries and pain. We ask You to please surround us with Your love, today and always.
