Getting a New Name

Dear friends, today on the blog, as many of you know I answer to many names…Katherine, Katie, Babe, Mom, Grandma, Mama, Rev, Minister, Reverend, Friend, Auntie, Great Auntie…. you can see where this is going, right?

That’s right my friends I will be getting a new name next year….Great Grandma! Wow! It’s awesome to be great! (smile). Our oldest granddaughter, who got married last year and her sweet hubby have been trying to have a baby. Well, it worked because there’s a bun in her oven, a stork on the horizon and excitement and joy in all our hearts. Of course, our daughter is over the moon excited to be a grandmother next year.

And even though hubby and I had been teasing them that we’re to young to be a great grandparents. We were secretly praying they would have a baby.(smile)

They are planning a gender reveal party in January, I’ll keep you posted.
