Remembering Jane
Hello friends, the world continues to grieve the loss of an icon. Dame Jane Goodall the groundbreaking primatologist, conservationist, and tireless humanitarian, passed away on Oct. 1st.( She was 91). I was overwhelmed by her loss. Which was a bit of a surprise to me. I have always admired her, and her work. But her passing felt like a deep tug of my heart. Please join me in celebrating a life that was nothing short of extraordinary.

For the majority of her life, Jane Goodall was more than a researcher. She lived among chimpanzees, opening a window into their world. Her work changed the course of science forever. The scientific community was skeptical of her unconventional, empathetic approach. But… her research spoke for itself.
She introduced generations of people to the responsibilities of maintaining a world filled with compassion, and humanitarianism. While continuing to focus on preserving the world’s animal species and resources. She empowered millions through the Jane Goodall Institute and its Roots & Shoots program. She taught us that every single person has a role to play in building a better world.
She traveled the globe to advocate for conservation, animal welfare, and a hopeful future. Her legacy is a towering testament to the power of compassion and persistence. She was a boundless source of hope to the world. She believed that the impossible can be achieved with a loving heart, open mind, and faith. (smile)
Let her own words serve as a reminder of our responsibility and making a difference.
“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
Wishing you all a peaceful weekend.
How sad. She certainly accomplished a lot in her lifetime.
