It’s tid bit Tuesday , the day I over share, giggle a little something about me that helps you know more about me. But lately I’ve run a little empty in the well of “over sharing”. Sometimes I just don’t know what to share. So, with that in mind, I give you biscotti!
There are all different types of biscotti. But I used to love the wafer cookie type with my cup of tea. Sadly no more chocolate for me. But, that doesn’t stop me from providing chocolaty goodness to those I love.
I’m not sure what it is about the twice baked wafers drizzled with chocolate that I loved more. The crunch, the chocolate, or their ability to withstand vigorous dunking.
I remember fondly the days of dunking them in a cold glass of milk or a hot cup of tea and as I reminisce a little grin appears at the corner of my mouth
Biscotti di Prato, or coffee bread. These delights originated in the Italian city of Prato. So grab a cup of whatever is best for dunking and mangiare!
