Piece of Bread
Where has this week gone? Time is flying by, we are in the dog days of summer. The dog days? Well I am panting from the heat!
I have been feeling a bit like a piece of bread with a hundred birds pecking at me lately. If I’m going to be bread I’m going to be French bread! You know that feeling, right? Do I hear a yes? Hmmm I think I’ll make toast…

I love french bread; used as garlic bread, overnight french toast or just plain.
Anyway you slice it, I like it, I love it, I want more of it. :}

Thank you! I know I am going to enjoy all the gifts included in the giveaway.
Congratulations Danielle!
I live in Kansas, and it has been very hot the past couple of weeks! =)
We try to stay cool by staying inside quite a bit. Ive been doing more reading to get my mind off of the heat. =)
With this HEAT, when I feel like a piece of bread, I do one of two things…head to a cool dark movie theatre or take a plunge in the pool!
I am with you…I agree that it seems like time is flying by far too quickly and “dog days of summer”? I always wondered why they referred to it as that…but your “panting” reference certainly put it in perspective. Ha…I never thought of it like that. Big hugs, xoxo
I think I usually feel toasted, especially in this heat.

I spend too much dough and wind up in a jam. That’s how I roll. (Sorry about the puns, Katie. I’m from Punnsylvania so it’s the yeast I could do.) Have a great weekend, dear friend!
Can’t say I’ve ever felt like a piece of bread. However, I feel like a limp noodle on a regular basis!
