Independent Artists and Crafters Shop Spotlight
I’m starting a series of posts here at Katherines Corner called Shop Spotlight. I know it’s hard to believe that its time to start thinking about holiday shopping. But, the holiday season is coming at us quickly. If you are like me you don’t want to be overwhelmed a week or two before the holidays and you are already on the look out for great items to give. I do my best to plan ahead and shop a little bit throughout the year. My shopping starts right about now. I am a HUGE advocate of the small businesses especially those of independent artists and crafters ( as I am one myself ) I have three online shops Keepsakes By Katherine , Be Well Gifts, and my custom blog design shop Blog Art By Katherine and I work very hard creating and promoting for them. But lets face it, the world wide web makes it tough for the little shops. So starting next week I will be featuring an online shop for you to visit and hopefully purchase from for yourself, your home, or for your holiday gift giving.
I hope you will join me in supporting and acknowledging the shops in the upcoming posts.

Requirements to be in the spotlight~
You must be a Katherines Corner follower
You must have an online shop ( on your blog, etsy, artfire, etc.)
If must be an artisan shop (handmade, artwork, etc.) Sorry no mlm, manufactured, drop shipped, etc.
Shops carrying vintage items may be considered
It must have less than 150 sales
It may not sell any pornographic or other items I feel do not fit within the readership of Katherines Corner
I look forward to sharing your talents and shop with the wonderful bloggy friends here at Katherines Corner.

Guess what my daughter is going to be studying in the US next year, which means I (I mean she!) will have a US postal address, can you see the way my minds working? Which means that I will want to visit her and I can pick up any shopping… so looking forward to seeing your feature on small businesses!!!

Excellent idea – I always support our local artists and crafters – wish my family would do the same. Oh, well. I’m digressing.
