Blog Tour
Blog Tour-
I am joining the blog tour fun this week and I am happy to be sharing with you. I was invited by my lovely and talented friend Sandra, from Sweet Sensations and Around My Table ♥ You can see her blog tour HERE. Sandra shares her sweet blogs regularly at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop. Do you remember her beautiful aubergine table setting? Gorgeous ! I am in the process of changing my art room ( I’ll share later) and if I had a place to eat in there I would want this lovely table setting. I admire her skills. She has an eye for creating beautiful things.
Sandra is generous of self, spirit and creativity. A lovely soul inspiring us to bring some Sweet Sensations to our table.
and she will help you set a beautiful table too. With inspirations from her blog Around My Table.
She is such a sweetie and I am grateful for our friendship. Please stop by and leave her some comment ♥
Part of the blog tour is answering some bloggy questions 🙂
Blog Tour Questions:
What am I working on? I am a planner, and I am planning some fun bits of craftiness, surprises, giveaways ( you can see the current giveaways HERE) and recipes for Katherines Corner. I try and plan ahead when it comes to the holidays at Katherines Corner. I look forward to creating new holiday recipes to share with you. I am gathering supplies and creating inventory for my shops Be Well Gifts, Keepsakes By Katherine and Craft Supply Things and I am designing new blogs for clients too.
I am also thrilled and honored to have my photography on the cover of latest edition of the Ruby For Women magazine. ♥
You can read the latest copy HERE !
How does my work differ than others of its genre? This question is easy -Because, no two of us are exactly the same. We are all generous with our knowledge and skills. I share with you as if we were sitting together sipping a good cup of tea. I give to each of you from my heart and soul.
Why do I write what I do? It is a labor of love. My blog is a place for sharing and that brings me joy. Sharing recipes, diy’s, craftiness and my photography allows me to include others in what I enjoy. I have mentioned it many times that I feel like a mad scientist when I am cooking up new recipes in my kitchen. Creating recipes and especially my new migraine safe recipe versions, are a bit of a challenge. Challenging ourselves builds strength of character. A recipe is often “sparked ” by what I have available; fresh vegetables, herbs, etc.I love to cook and a meal shared with those you hold dear is the best meal of all.♥
How does my writing process work? It starts with a” light bulb moment.” a bit of inspiration found in a hungry tummy, nature, a moment of happy or necessity. I keep a notepad close by; I have one on my nightstand, in the kitchen, in my purse and even in the bathroom (full disclosure here). I write myself plenty of notes, sometimes it looks like I write them with my eyes closed. The rest just seems to bubble up to the surface and I dive in. You can hear me clanging pots and pans and creating havoc in the kitchen ( I am a mess maker). But, that is my process.
It was a pleasure to join in the blog tour this week, I am passing the baton on to these three lovelies-
My Featured Three Bloggers– The blog tour will continue on with Pam from Over 50 Feeling 40, Nina from Vintage Mamas Cottage and Suzanne from Simply Suzannes at Home next week.
Pam and I became fast friends through our blogging. She is my co hostess every week for the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop. She is a bright light in all that she does. Encouraging other to know their self worth in her wonderful series
“I Matter”. You can find some beautiful and fashionable posts on her blog, and she is also having a giveaway!
Suzanne and I became friends through Katherines Corner and she is a regular at the hop every week too. Suzanne is a sweetheart and she shares so many wonderful goodies on her blog. I am an admirer of her photography skills and one of her biggest fans. Her blog is a beautiful blend of recipes and traditions. It is her goal to share her blog with her daughters when they are older, she is creating a diary of food and entertaining as she blogs.
Nina and I have been friends for several years. We met through a social website I hosted years ago called “The Friendship Society”. Where a group of people with common interests through faith and friendship could gather and share. You will recognize Nina from the weekly hop too, she is also my co-hostess. Her sweet blog is filled with crafty goodness and she shares her love of vintage treasures too. Nina is a women who walks the path of angels in all that she does.
I encourage you to stop by all of their blogs.
I hope to see you all at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop ( you can start linking up tomorrow night at 8 PM MST)
I will post the links to Pam, Nina and Suzanne’s blog tour next week ♥
