5 Easy Steps for Shipping Cookies
You are a cookie baking dynamo! You’ve baked everyone’s favorite Christmas/Holiday cookies. You are just 5 Easy Steps away from shipping Cookies to their destination in one piece. That’s right, all in one piece. With little or no cookie bits! Of course I can’t “guarantee” the cookies will arrive without a crumble, the bits are just as good anyway. But these 5 easy steps for shipping cookies rarely fails. Make sure cookies have cooled completely before packing.
What You Need
Cookies
A box deep enough to hold the cookies on their edge
Air popped popcorn (no butter, flavorings etc.) Enough to fill the box
Cling wrap or sandwich bags
Tissue paper
Brown paper, tape, bakers twine,scissors.( for wrapping package).Do not use twine if mailing.
Lets do this!
1-Start by lining the box with tissue, keep enough out on either side to fold over the filled box.
2-Individually wrap each cookie with cling wrap (or put each cookie in a baggie).
3- Pour a small layer of popcorn inside the tissue lined box.
4- Take each wrapped cookie and place it in the box on the cookies edge, repeat until the cookies are all in the box.
5-Add more popcorn and make sure there is plenty of popcorn between each cookie. Add more popcorn to cover, fold tissue paper over the top of the filled box.
Taa Daa, now you can wrap it and ship it across town or across the states. Remember to ask the postal worker to stamp fragile and perishable on your package.

I love this idea! I wonder if I can make myself try it though. I’m terrible… I like to fit as much in a box as possible. 🙂
I was at the UPS store yesterday, and a woman was shipping her cookies. Don’t know how well she packed them, but she was horrified at how much it was going to cost her. This is such a helpful post! I love sending cookies to people but it can be a tricky process if you don’t know what you’re doing. (The first time I tried my recipients ended up with crumbs-haha)
